I’m a huge fan of the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo, but even I’m willing to point out when a dumb thing is dumb. We knew that the chat and headset solution for some time and I’m not really sue why I’m so surprised to this.
The headset it’s self looks fine, if a little dated but it’s the way Nintendo is forcing this weird and non user friendly way of chatting on the SWITCH.
Look at this! LOOK AT THIS! Can you Imagine having this thing sitting across your living room ready to just come tumbling down while celebrating a close win? Maybe it’s just me but I dont like the idea of having my system tethered to my head. There is a number of other solutions to this problem that a number of other companies *cough MSFT, SONY cough* have figured out. Plus we know The Switch has bluetooth so how come we have no bluetooth headsets?
I don’t know what do you guys think? Will you buy this or will will you pass on it?

So if you’ve been paying attention and looking into the Smash/Zelda amiibos, you may have seen Gamestop sell out of the Link in like 2 minutes and Cloud seems to have been sold out too. It’s fairly likely we’re looking at a Wave 4 Smash scenario with these amiibo again…but I don’t think the Splatoon 2 ones will be super scarce like the Zelda and Smash ones will be. I could be wrong of course but I’m leaning to them being just fine. That being said, if you’re worried, preorder away. If you’re not too much, Amaazon should have them up sometime between now and July for preorder, and Amazon with Prime has a nifty 20% off preorder deal with new games (and amiibo count in this deal too!)
