Just one day at a time, and there’s no doing a good job or a bad job. You’ve lost a part of your family and you just need to grieve how ever you feel you should.
It’s pretty apparent that the rest of the family got over it already, though, and they seem crossed with me that I’m unable to. I try not to shove it in everyone’s face as I don’t even want to talk about it, but I wish I could handle extreme emotions better so that maybe I could express them in a healthy way and not be that much of an awkward burden to other people.
