I tried to make her hair look kind of sparkly and SPACE LIKE.
I hope you guys can make out the subtle scale texture on spike because I’m dang proud of that bit too.
Rainbow Dash! I had to redo this one a FEW TIMES to get something I liked X_X first time… I don’t remember what I messed up? A couple of things. I fully finished the second attempt but the lining was too dark and I didn’t like that I had added lining to too much of the mane and tail.
Nothing I ever do is perfect (such is the nature of art!!!) but 3rd time is the charm and this is the one I’ll be keeping (although the other fully finished version I will have at Everfree and stuff to sell, its not TERRIBLE by any means its just not what I wanted)

I’m a little bummed because I am JUST NOW SEEING that her head looks a little large in proportion to her body in comparison to the other ponies I did 8l But I SO SO SO love how I did her mane and tail, and spent pretty much ALL DAY yesterday painting that part SO CAREFULLY and I love how it turned out, that I guess I’ll just have to live with it 8l
but seriously plz appreciate this mane and tail - I have put so much love into the hair on all of these but this took a particularly large amount of work 8l pfffff
Finished another pony! Applejack this time :3 I also TRIED painting Rainbow Dash today but I’m not happy with it, so I’ll redo it tomorrow 8P

A doodle I forgot I did while visiting my pal MittyMandi! Just felt like doodlin’ some ponies.
AAAND I think AppleJack + FlutterShy is a cute pairing - whether its platonic or romantic, either way, I’m into it.
Anyway, this was just a quick doodle thing with some watersoluble colored pencils (like, 3 different browns) and a brown pen that turned out to be NOT as waterproof as I thought but ah well. And white pen of course.
