She did so very well too. “Animals don’t ask to come to us, but once we have them they’re family. And you keep family through and through because it’s selfish to abandon them. How do you think Silver (I’m assuming the cat’s name) would feel if he never saw us again? Or if he got out and couldn’t get home. He’d be alone and scared. What if I left? It’s selfish to toss another living creature to the side. Now when we get home you’re going to help me take care of Silver because he needs us and then you’re going to spend some quality time playing with him.” I was so impressed, the little girl looked ashamed for even suggesting such a thing. But they’re creating good values which is what’s important.
