The Slig:
“Sligs are the backbone of Oddworld’s industrial security. They are also the loyal, if reluctant, henchmen of the Glukkons, or sometimes other higher societies such as the Vykkers. They are among the most common creatures in any industrial region of Oddworld.”
“Sligs were originally primitive and simple living creatures who preferred swampy regions, living in bodies of water in bogs and lakes. However when the Glukkons first encountered them, they turned out to be intelligent. Thus, the Glukkons were able to easily negotiate that if the Sligs would work for them, they could grant them robot legs for easy mobility, which they reluctantly accepted. In return for their robotic Slig Pants that grant them the ability to walk, sligs have pledged their loyalty to the Glukkon Industrialists as henchmen and bodyguards. In truth, much of the Glukkon success has been achieved by the Slig’s combat capabilities.”

RuptureFarms 1029:
“The now defunct RuptureFarms 1029, served as the primary location of the events that transpired in Abe’s Oddysee. It was administrated by a high-ranking Glukkon of the Magog Cartel known as Molluck, who was also the CEO of SoulStorm Brewery 401.”
“Molluck was faced with a dilemma when profits began to fall and the outlook and future of his beloved plant was grim. Since the creatures he used for products were becoming scarce and, in the case of Meeches, extinct, he decided to make a major move: to feed the slaves of RuptureFarms into the farm itself. Needless to say, this was what began the plan of Abe, a lowly Mudokon first class floor waxer, to escape the factory. Eventually, after a long and harsh journey, he managed to shut down RuptureFarms 1029 for good and rescue the labourers enslaved there.”
“Once RuptureFarms 1029 was closed, the trains that joined it to FeeCo Depot stopped running, and it was officially announced as ‘Out of Service’.”
