Norman while he is shedding his velvet. HE IS NOT IN PAIN… his antlers are completely dead at this time of year. It is not unusual to see this much blood while a buck is shedding his velvet.

We need another name! “Baby Anteater” is just not good enough. We’d like to find a South American name appropriate for this little female. Her parents are named Zoe and Xander. Maybe something that starts with a Y? We will keep thinking too, and will pick a name by Monday — so join in!
