Ted Gore - Some forest fires had been burning recently, and a haze of fire smoke lingered on the horizon. When the sun rose that day, the light was being filtered by the thick smoke and instead of a searing, bright ball of light that was painful to look at, it… wasn’t. You could just look right at it.
