It’s National Moth week! Tonight, leave the porch light on and see what types of moths live in your neighborhood. (Just don’t let them in if you value your wool sweaters.) If you live in Eastern North America, you may see Actias luna, the luna moth. Adult luna moths have only vestigial mouth-parts and do not feed; this phase of their life cycle is dedicated only to mating and laying eggs.
