I hope my favorite genre of fan art makes a come back: The Super Smash Bros fighters all hanging out together and having fun doing slice of life stuff, but now there’s a big purple murder alien dragon there.
pretty much finished dark samus! gonna take some more photos when i do some paint touchups and maybe stick a few rocks on the base, but here she is for now :D
I did this a while back, because: A) I love pixel art B) Nintendo refuses to give us another 2D metroid sidescroller. I’ve been yearning for one for over a decade now :(
All assets were done from scratch, and it’s done in pixel perfect resolution for a top 3DS screen(I’ve tried porting the image to my 3DS to see how it would look but the system software makes that near…impossible)
