Sea Things in a New Light
Jevin Surjadi, National Geographic Your ShotBacklit octopus eggs look like a clutch of delicate, painted capsules in this image captured by Jevin Surjadi. But according to the Your Shot photographer, it was no easy shot. “Even with the dive master’s help [holding] the back strobe, which pointed mostly at the wrong angle, there was still the current that [moved] the eggs left and right,” he says. “Luckily, in the split-second window of opportunity when it was not overexposed on one side nor underexposed on the other, this shot was captured.” Taken near Jakarta, Indonesia

I had the most amazing time when @lyriumglow visited me from NZ two months ago. We did so many fun things together. I took her to my local mini zoo, and we were somehow lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time throughout the entire day. We were the only people at the lemur enclosure when a zookeeper passed by and asked us if we wanted to feed the lemurs. So we got these adorable babies all to ourselves ♥ We also stroked fallow deer and got intensely nibbled by horses.
They are so happy to know you love and care about them! #bees #honeybees

Lemur puppy pile!!
Pom pom crabs and sea anemones have their own tiny cheer squads. The crabs wave the stinging anemones around to defend themselves against predators, while the anemones collect food particles they can feast on after sharing with their crab besties. Source
Also if one of their crab friends loses their anemones they will share!
