The Death of Music - The Return of Ziltoid - Albert Hall
A hypercane is a theoretical extreme hurricane that could form if ocean temperatures reached around 50 °C (122 °F). Such an increase could be caused by a large asteroid/comet impact or extensive global warming. Hypercanes would have wind speeds of over 800 km/h (500 mph). They would last much longer as well. The extreme conditions needed to create a hypercane could produce a system up to the size of North America and have an eye that’s nearly 300 km (190 mi) across. A hypercane can reach up to upper stratosphere and damage the Earth’s ozone as well.
