This is my favorite DTP song of all time and the fact this cover exists makes it that much more meaningful for me.

I started to cry in the middle of the library because of how much this song means to me and because of how impressed I am.

Hey, an unfinished demo of a cover of Hyperdrive. Needs some acoustic guitars, a few more synths and/or a flute for that iconic synth line during the chorus. Also vocals, and a hell of a mix down (right now it’s just the composition, so there’s no automations (e.g. the really noisy guitars i have hard panned left and right will slowly swell in during the breakdown after the second verse, but right now they’re at a static level).

But yay cover aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

(also before someone comments, I did play it in Drop D as opposed to the original open C or B - my voice just works best for that song in that key/tuning).

Trying out Hyperdrive! (Addicted! version). I love this song, but I never dare to record and ruin it… I’d say this is definitely not an official cover and I don’t know if I will ever do one… Having fun with it is better. :-)
