I took a trip to the Bell Pettigrew Museum, St.Andrews today. They have newly decorated the PHD corridor and re-hung various artworks including two of my drawings recently acquired by the University.
The Mystery of the Immaculately Conceived Baby Anteater
A Dan Brown-worthy mystery (forget about Dante, what about the zoo?) is as follows: Staffers at a zoological conservation center in Greenwich, Conn., are very confused — as are the rest of us — because their female giant anteater, Armani, has managed to conceive a baby, apparently without the presence of a male anteater. What?
Mature adult showing the foreclaws that it uses to rip open ant nests and termite mounds. It’s the largest of its family, stretching 182–217 cm (6–7 ft) and weighing 27–41 kg (60–90 lb). Rupununi savannah, Karanambu Lodge, North Rupununi, Guyana, South America. by Hoppy1951
Here’s my full piece for the Gallery Nucleus “Wild Kingdom” show on Feb 16th.
I’m also selling a few prints from the “Menagerie” Series on the Gallery Nucleus page. If you’re thinking of picking one up the the next little while, buy it through them! It helps my sales ranking on the site, which means I can participate in plenty of other shows in the future. Thanks guys!
