hoo!
inktober day15: single young mother travels to far off lands, defends family from unscrupulous adventurers.
inspired by a cute wolf spider mom i rescued from my parent’s bathroom a few weeks ago. her babies weren’t as blob as these are but i got very tired in the home stretch of sketching this.
also i think i’m actually getting better with inks which is neato.

A gift for two of my best artsy friends, @0kin and @riftist!
Been working on and off with this for about a month at this point, maybe a month and a half? I sadly don’t have too much time for making these types of works anymore due to my job suddenly deciding to suddenly pick up its pace something fierce, but it’s always nice to have something else to sit down with that does not involve reading articles or doing research, hahah.Characters belong to me, @0kin and @riftist, mediums used include technical pencil, various pens, markers and watercolor markers. The paper is aquarel paper. c:

Chili and Dwindle being the most cute <3 looks like the found a nice rock = w =b

Oooh nooo! I cannot believe how cute they are ; u ;
That came completely unexpected and made my day, thank you so much! I love it ♥
A collaboration I did with Rift!
This is a very small format (A5) compared to what I usually work with (A4). She put down some lines during our summer vacation, and left it for me to toy around with (her first time finishing something using brush pens, I am so proud <3). Since it was drawn on watercolor paper, I decided to do something risky(!) and try out my brand new watercolor markers. I like the effects I achieved, but I am in dire need of practice with them! ; v ;
You can find Rift’s blog over at: http://rift5.tumblr.com
You can also see our progress sketches over on her blog: http://rift5.tumblr.com/post/146714870812/heres-a-little-bit-of-work-i-did-during-my
My BB and me (but mostly BB, dang look at that background) did a thing together and it’s been a bomb! OuO
*draws squid people*
*gets inspired to make own squid people*
YAYanyway, I think this sorta concept might fit right in Tildeverse, haha.
An assortment of older illustrations from 2011 - 2013, approximately? Uploading these not because I am terribly fond of them (they are kinda bad in retrospect), but because 1) you should always have a piece in your Gallery to show you’re sorta kinda improving, and 2) I get a bit nostalgic when looking at these, hahah. c’:
Additionally, while also showcasing my first fine-detail works, some of these illustrations also show my former ineptitude to stick with actually finishing an image series. Please, lack of ambition, never again.
Illustrations 11 through 20 from “The Human Equation” project, also the final part. Go check out the album if you want, as it is pretty gnarly!
