Sometimes, the characters that stick out the most to me, are the ones I hated then at the end, can’t help but love them. Kain is most certainly one of them. I hated him, as much as Raziel did. But unlike Raziel, I listened to his story. It made me think. It made me see the “other side of the coin” as it were. By the end of Defiance, I found myself cheering Kain on. Hoping that he will gain the victory he sought out for. Now that I actually played games at last, I concur that Kain is indeed the most amazing anti-hero vampire ever. He is not one I would trust my life to, but he would be good in making a certain squid into sushi.

Now excuse me while I try to continue Blood Omen. -_-
