Q:The rest of your family isn't you though, and you shouldn't set yourself to their standards, everyone has a different way of coping and how quickly they can jump back. You've all lost a very precious family member and it doesn't make you a burden to take longer to get past it then they have.

On the one hand I know this, but on the other, well, my family is not neccessarily known for being too empathetic towards people who deal with things differently than them. I’m considered to be the one who overthinks everything and creates more problems for herself in the process, so I learned long ago to not really share my feelings in their entirety. This is not to say that I don’t feel their support or love, they just tend to misunderstand me a lot and the fact that I can’t effectively express myself makes it worse. It’s an unfortunate situation to be in, especially now…but I digress, sorry.
