When you make a (kinda sorta, apparently) biographical movie about a person who got brutally murdered, and you actually have the murder scene showed in your movie in every little detail, with all the stabs carefully calculated and the camera being completely frozen in place, what is the artistic merit behind that beyond cheap shock value? I would genuinely like to know because I personally see none, and I take the possibility of something flying over my head into consideration.
