Gbaya Sword

  • Dated: early 20th century
  • Place of Origin: D. R. Congo, Africa
  • Measurements: overall length 21" (53.34cm), blade length 16 ½" (41.91cm)

One side of the blade has forged raises lines and hollow fullers. The back of the blade is flat, much like a throwing knife. The thin copper wire is a latter addition on the handle is a later addition.
