It’s funny because sometimes when person A spends their “entire life” doing nice things for person B it’s only when it’s also convenient for person A during their leisure, and often those are things that person B doesn’t even need or want (but they are kind of nice regardless). And then, when person B actually needs this one thing from person A and they fuck up, person B is going to be severely disappointed so that’s why they will remember it better.

I looked it up and apparently this is from an animated movie called Arashi no Yoru ni (“one stormy night”), made after the children’s bookwritten by Yūichi Kimura. It tells the story of a goat and a wolf who become friends in a stormy night, and how they overcome differences and hardships.
