Photo of the Day – The Blue Waxbill (Uraeginthus angolensis) is a small species that is fairly common in Southern Africa. It is often found with other small seedeaters, or in loose parties or pairs when breeding. It’s diet mainly consists of seeds, plants and grass, but is also supplemented by small insects.
