Photo of the Day – The European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster) breeds in southern Europe, as well as parts of northern Africa and western Asia. The species takes on a serious migration every year, where they winter in tropical Africa, as far south as South Africa.
This photo is of a wintering bird, taken by Rich Lindie in Kruger NP, South Africa.

A rare male painted bunting (Passerina ciris) sits on a fence in Pittsfield, Vermont, US. The bird, sometimes described as a ‘flying rainbow’, normally does not fly north of the Carolinas on the east coast. It’s the sixth time a painted bunting sighting has been recorded in Vermont.

Wszyscy jesteście… czynstochowophobiczni. Antisilesianism
te, bycie antyczynstochowa to jest najbardziej śląska rzecz jaka istnieje, nikt was nie lubi, zróbcie se z powrotem swoje własne województwo
Counterpoint: częstochowofobizm jest only second to zagłebiofobizmu i anty-sosnowieckości.
Antysosnowieckość to akurat zdrowy rozsądek
